Has anyone experienced Air Arabia? What is the service & punctuality of flights from Sharjah to India like?

No alcohol is served on board and one has to pay for available food!!
I've flown from Sharjah to Mumbai and the flight was punctual, clean, comfortable (loads of leg room!) and all in all great value for money.
I don't drink alcohol on flights so that didn't bother me... and for such a short flight I don't think it's an issue :-)
Yes, no food is served but that's the case will all budget airlines (FlyDubai, EasyJet, etc.) and again: eat a good meal before you travel and you won't be hungry.
I have not personal flu with Air Arabia, but I can give you a link that people personal review on Air Arabia - I hope this helps.

Flew them from Sharjah to Khartoum. Would not imagine that the flights to India are much different. They are a low cost carrier (you pay extra for food/drinks an assigned seat and a few other things IIRC?) so don't expect much from a safe, clean ride with friendly staff. They have a young fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft so I would not expect a maintenance delays. Flight crews are on the young side but very polite and professional...I would fly them again in a heartbeat.
Thanks. I was enquiring for a cousin (flying in from Atlanta) but he chose an overnight stay in Dubai followed by an Emirates flight to Ahmedabad.
He will be returning to spend more time in Dubai, so I found Air Arabia to save him wasting a day in Dubai. He chose otherwise :-(
There's a gorgeous fountain at the end of the walkway right next to the Ferris wheel.On fridays 7 PM they have a show with music for about 15 mins.The fountains dance to the tunes of the music and its a great sight to watch.The best thing about the show is that its FREE of cost:)
This section deals with various aspects of flying, History, Engeneering, bird and Flying mammels. It is very educational and has children target in mind. It has an interactive section and few presentation. The Section about Fossil dianasours and insects was very interesting
