On arrival I was told that the suite was not ready and so the hotel gave us the Arabian Suite free for the night. What a suite!
Very friendly staff. Excellent food. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Buy alcohol in the duty free at Dubai airport as Sharjah is the only emirate not to allow alcohol to be sold. Ask the non Emirati staff and they will direct you to a 'back street warehouse' thats sells alcohol at the docks in Ajman.
Prices here, as in all Dubai/Sharjah hotels have risen by over 60% in 2 years so go now before they rise even more.
A suite here now costs nearly £180 a night.
Has its own private beach. Very good food in the restaurant, if a little expensive if you dont eat much as its mainly buffet, eat as much as you want, style service. Great for me, not so great for my wife. I had her put food on her plate which I liked ;)
Nice Amazonian type jungle foliage decor in the main reception. We spent most days at the cofee shop watching the wild birds fly around this huge glass roofed relaxation area.
The rooms, though air conditioned, have no balconys and the windows are all sealed shut.
