A simpe hotel, 2 stars only, in a very handy location - right by the bur dubai bus stand, so very convenient for moving about... I was a bit uneasy about this hotel, because of the bad reviews it has got - but I must say I was satisfied: it is not as dirty as they say (in fact it was quite clean) although not luxurious. For the price we paid, it suited us well.
Oh, and really nice staff.
The room was correct, clean and functional - not fancy, though. As for the breakfast: do skip it - it's indian-style and very greasy. Undrinkable coffee. It's only a few minutes from a carrefour supermarket, so we just used to buy our breakfast there the evening before. With a choice of Thai, European and Arabic cuisine, innovative open-plan kitchens guarantee an injection of drama and theatre into your dining experience. Unfortunately Café Arabesque doesn’t have anything to entertain you while you wait 45 minutes for 3 beers. Similar service can be expected at breakfast. After asking four waiters, I finally received my coffee.
Along with great restaurants, the hotel also offers a plethora of activities to entice and amuse you.
