Inquiring regarding the above hotel whose address is below;
Courtyard by Marriott Green Community Dubai
Dubai Investment Park, PO Box 63845
How far is this from Meena bazaar , Gold Souk . From the marriott web site it says that it is 25 miles from the city centre. i am not sure the distance between meena bazaar/ gold souk from the city centre.
Also could you let me know if there is any thing to do near the hotel, as it says that it is in investment park?

Its about 40 to 50 Km away from Meena Bazae and gold souk. It may take you 1 to 2 hours to get to Dubai from the hotel during busy hours.
I agree with Amir... you're hotel is waaaaaaay outside the city, and with today's traffic, it will take you a looooooong time to get to any of the shopping areas, souks, creek, museum, etc.
There's also not much to do where your hotel is located.

The distance between the Gold Souk and Deira City Centre Mall is very small, like 1-2 kilometres or so.

well there are certain good things about this hotel. it is of course a marvelous creation standing alone in the dessert, but there are shopping malls like Bin Batuta mall and Mall of the emirates closer to this hotel. of course i agree with amir travelling to the heart of the city and back would take sometime. cheers riaz
