Hotel in a Garden
Dubai Marine Beach Resort is rather different from the general hotels: instead of a big building, with lots of rooms spreading up the tower, this is a garden, with lakes and plenty of green.
The rooms are located in small villas, all with easy access to the lobby and the pools.
A clever and simple system allows direct access to the bathing area for the costumers, while visitors must use the reception, and controlled access via reception when the doors are opened, at night to external clients.
Everything works with efficiency, allowing a calm stay.

Best Location
Thanks JessH for the suggestion that took me to the Dubai Marine.
The hotel has not an outstanding luxury (excellent), but it’s comfortable, and very well located, only some minutes away from… everything (if traffic allows it!).

Cool Pool
In Dubai Marine Beach Resort we had three degree of temperature in the water: the boiling sea, the tepid pool, and… the normal pool.
The cascade does refresh a little, and moving into it after coming from the beach (or the other pool) was very pleasant. Furthermore, it was the shadiest area, and that made it my favourite location in the hotel’s facilities.

The only 5* beach hotel in the middle of the city!
If you're coming to Dubai and planning to spend your holiday on the beach, then there are definitely numerous hotels to choose from.
If you are also interested in seeing 'downtown' Dubai, or even just want to indulge in some shopping, it can be quite a drive getting into town, as all of the beach hotels are located faaaar outside the city. And nowadays, the highways are a 24/7 rush-hour - you don't want to spend half your holiday in a traffic jam, do you?
That's why I suggest the Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa: it's *the* premier independent 5-star hotel & the ideal place to stay. The hotel is located smack-bang in the middle at the beginning of Jumeirah, with a nice small private beach, 2 large swimming pools + kid's pool, great access to the cafes, shops and malls on Jumeirah Beach Road, and quick access into Bur Dubai, to Dubai Creek, etc.
There's another long public beach right next to the hotel if you want to go for nice walks in the sand.
Unique Quality: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...

> Palm Strip Shopping Mall - adjacent to the resort.
> Jumeirah Mosque - opposite side of the road.
> Wild Wadi Water Park - 20 minutes.
> Burj Al Arab - 20 minutes.
> Gold / Spice Souk - 10 minutes (drive down to Creek, then take 'Abra' (water taxi) across!
> Dubai Museum - 15 minutes.
> World Trade Centre - 5 minutes.
> Mercato Shopping Mall - 2 minutes.

Best place on earth!
I went here in September 2004 with my best friend and we have just booked to go again in March 2005 - the place was amazing!
it had everything you could want. Great pools, restaurants, rooms, location.
It was away from all the current construction that is going on in Dubai
The nightlife here is amazing and we managed to see some celebs in out hotel bar! was great fun and they offers in some of teh clubs in the hotel such as free champagne for ladies on tuesdays and free cocktails another night!
I can not speak hghly enough of this place! Is bloody great!

Dubai Marine Resort and Spa
All the hotels in Dubai which are located on Jumeriah Beach are expensive. I booked mine thru the internet and received a good rate. All the hotels along the beach are beautiful, both inside and out. Dubai Marine Resort has 12 restaurants; this seems to be a common thing within all the resorts along the beach. I ventured down to The Sheraton Beach Resort and also The Royal Mirage Hotel. The grounds were covered in Palm Trees; flowers and alot of vegetation.
I was more than pleased with my accomodation. You have to be willing to pay the extra price though to stay on the beach.
Unique Quality: There are 2 pools at this resort; both very nice. The beach here was small but this was okay for me. The grounds around the hotel were covered in palm trees (a common thing in Dubai); very well kept. Also, there were many, many waterfalls. Staff was friendly and always helpful.

Has anybody stayed in Dubai Marine Beach resort and spa? How would you rate the hotel ( rooms, service, staff, cleaness,..) I saw the beach isnt very large, how is it in real ?

I'm sorry I haven't stayed Dubai Marine Beach Resort....
But now I'm planning a trip to Dubai.
