5* iconic towers: Feel the buzz of the city...
The Emirates Towers are iconic twin towers on Sheikh Zayed Road and part of the Jumeirah Group.
When I first arrived in Dubai in 1998 they were merely two holes in the ground, under construction; opened in the year 2000 - nowadays they are an integral & unmistakable part of Dubai's modern skyline. The easily recognizable triangular towers consist of a 350 metres Office tower and a 305 metres Hotel tower with 400 bedrooms. They are connected on the ground floor by a central podium which is home to "the Boulevard", a shopping and leisure destination full of designer brands and stylish restaurants and bars.
This is one of the region's finest business hotels, which has won "Best Business Hotel in the Middle East" for the past 8 years running. Its location is as central as you can be, right in the heart of the city, a mere 12km from Dubai Int'l Airport and situated right next to the city's financial district and trade centre / exhibition halls.
The rooms are very modern (European style decor) with all comforts guests could hope for. All rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows that give you an amazing sense of how high up you actually are! There is also complimentary broadband Internet in all rooms. Another unique feature is a dedicated "women's only" floor (Chopard Ladies Floor, 40th floor) for single female (business) travellers, which is also staffed only by women.
The impressive lobby is constantly buzzing with people; in fact this is a very popular spot for business meetings. The hotel's board rooms cater for groups of various sizes and I've been here many times (on business and also leisure): quality of service and the facilities are consistently excellent.
The hotel has a large health club and also a great pool area as well as a Spa and a kid's club, but if it's the beach you're after the hotel offers shuttle buses with complimentary entrance to the Madinat Jumeirah Resort's beach (this is their sister hotel, right next to the Burj Al Arab).
Rates range from AED 750.- (off-peak) to AED 1,500.- (peak season) per night. --> TIP: be aware of the fact that during major exhibitions at the nearby trade centre convention halls room prices can be even higher.
Unique Quality: Some of my favourites:
> Scarlett's in the Boulevard is a Southern-American styled restaurant and bar that offers some pretty decent food and also regularly shows major international sporting events on the big screen (football, formula one, etc.)
> The Agency is located exactly opposite Scarlett's: this is a sophisticated wine bar and a favourite hang-out for bankers from the nearby financial district... but don't let this put you off though, haha!
> Vu's Bar on the hotel's 51st floor (that's 1024 feet high!) offers great views and is a very sophisticated after-work venue for drinks and canapes.
> Harry Ghattos' on the 1st floor of the Boulevard is a Japanese restaurant with a small and intimate Karaoke Bar at the back... small enough to not feel too embarrassed in front of a large crowd!
More info on The Boulevard can be found here: www.boulevarddubai.com/
To sum it all up: The Jumeirah Emirates Towers is perfect for business travellers but also a great place to stay for holidaying couples and families. It's busy and bustling all year round, day and night. If you're bored by "tranquil" resorts and want to feel the buzz of the city, this is the place for you!
--> For transportation, the Emirates Towers are never short of taxis. Also, just a short walk takes you to the Dubai Metro Station (Financial Centre) nearby.

This hotel is one of Jumeirah hotel group's nicer (business) hotels. It's portfolio of restaurants and bars (especially the one on the 52nd floor) is amazing. Scarlett's bar has great food and drinks and is a lovely social hang out.
It's also home to H20 which is a fabulous spa for men. They have great treatments dedicated to men.
Unique Quality: Being a high-rise hotel, the views are terrific. The location on Sheikh Zayed road is terrific too with most attractions within 3-4 kilometers.

Amazing stay, 5-star deluxe accomodations
The Jumeirah Emirates Towers not only looks amazing on the outside but the interior is equally impressive. Situated 12km from Dubai International Airport along the Sheikh Zayed Road, you can't miss the stunning architecture of the towers.
The hotel has 400 rooms, from deluxe rooms to suites and a 25-metre outdoor swimming pool with views of the Towers. You can shop at in the Boulevard at Jumeirah Emirates Towers which is connected to the Towers but the shops are mostly upscale boutiques. The hotel has several good restaurants to choose from, including the award winning Vu's restaurant located on the 50th floor. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed with the food there
When I arrived at the Emirates Towers, the front desk let me check-in earlier than the standard time AND they even upgraded me to one of the ten rooms on the Chopard Ladies' Floor. My check-in was smooth and the glass elevator gave me wonderful views of the lobby & Sheikh Zayed Road as I went upstairs to the 40th floor.
The service was also friendly and professional. Housekeeping sent me a fresh fruit platter everyday and gave me a miniature Chopard fragrance. Breakfast was the usual American breakfast but I like that they didn't add any sugar in the yogurt & juices
Unique Quality: Information on the Chopard Ladies Floor :
* Dedicated hotel floor exclusively for women. * Designed to cater to privacy and comfort for lady travellers. * Serviced only by female staff. * Lavish amenities and bathing products by Chopard. * Luxurious cosmetics and a cosmetics fridge. * Yoga mat and DVD with introduction to yoga.
My bedsheets & duvet were pink in color to match the theme :-)

Emirates Towers
I got the opportunity to stay here for a week whilst in Dubai for a trade show, and absolutely loved the hotel. The service was fabulous, the staff went out of their way to assist at every turn. The rooms were a nice size and the view in the evening was wonderful, I was lucky enough to get upgraded to the 40th Floor (sponsored by Chopard) and got lots of lovely Chopard goodies in the bathroom and the bedroom. Another great feature was the walk in shower separate from the bath. Vue (the bar on the 50th floor) was nice but not amazing, and the rest of the facilities throughout the hotel were good with a lot of variety from a Japanese restaurant with a karaoke bar at the back to the Sports Bar style bar on the lower ground floor of the mall attached to the hotel.

Really Great Service...even at 4AM!!
by Rushland about Emirates Towers
The Emirates Towers is a part of the Jumeirah chain of hotels. This one is located right in the middle of downtown. Everthing is short taxi ride away. There's a shopping center attached to the hotel with mainly signatures stores. There's an outdoor pool, spa services on site, a few bars, a few restuarants. It's what you'd expect from a 4/5 star hotel.
The service was great. We ordered the most random things in the middle of the night and it was delivered with a smile. Everytime we asked for ice, it got to the room within 5 minutes.
Definate try this place. We were on the 27th floor, so we got a pretty good view of the city.
Luxury in the Financial Districs
by Escadora7 about Emirates Towers Hotels
Driving down Sheikh Zayed Road, you have high-rise galore, yet the Emirates Towers stand out (possibly because there are 2 of them). One is a buisiness tower (350m), housing hundreds of offices, the other one is home to the luxurious Emirates Towers Hotel (305m).
No building in Dubai would be complete without a dedicated shopping-zone, so expectedly, the Emirates Towers have the "The Boulevard", a small 2-level shopping area between the towers (about 40 stores and a handful of restaurants/coffee-shops). Some of what they offer:
- 400 luxurious rooms and suites - Rooms furnished in contemporary style offering spacious luxury. - Fully equipped workstation including ultra-high speed Internet connections. - Mini Hi-fi system and interactive TV system with wireless keyboard. - Suites with panoramic views and spacious living areas.
- Dedicated hotel floor exclusively for women. - Serviced only by female staff. - Lavish amenities and bathing products by Chopard. - Luxurious cosmetics and a cosmetics fridge. - Yoga mat and DVD with introduction to yoga.
- Dedicated Club Executive Lounge on the 42nd floor. - Complimentary breakfast and all-day beverages and snacks. - Exclusive benefits such as a seamless check-in service and chauffeur transfer.
- The Health Club with gymnasium, sauna, steam and massage rooms. - The Big Apple fitness club with fully equipped gymnasium and aerobics studio. - Shopping in the Boulevard at Emirates Towers. - Access to Wild Wadi Water Park at preferential rate. - Complimentary access to The Jumeirah Beach Club Resort and Spa. - Access to The Jumeirah Beach Hotel at a preferential rate.
- 16 restaurants and lounges that offer a global tour of cuisines including:
* Vu's - Modern European cuisine. Highest restaurant in Europe and Middle East * The Rib Room - Steak and seafood restaurant * Mosaico - Italian, open 24 hours a day. Poolside alfresco terrace * Cigar Lounge - Oysters and gourmet fare * The Agency - trendy, intimate bar serving over 50 wines by the glass * Scarlett's - American cuisine with a lively atmosphere * tokyo@thetowers - a choice of authentic Japanese dishes * ET Sushi - sushi bar * Harry Ghatto's - karaoke bar * The Noodle House - fast, fun, affordable Southeast Asian food * Al Nafoorah - exquisite Lebanese cuisine in the most opulent setting * Bonsai - a new restaurant opening late 2005
The atmosphere in the Reception area is superb. That alone is worth staying for.

My Wife and I have stayed at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel several times over recent years. The service is excellent and the staff friendly and helpfull. I have introduced several guests from the U.K. to the Emirates Towers, and we all agree that the Reception area must be the best we have previously experienced. We are returning in February 2008 for our Wedding Anniversary. Phil Buckley. U.K.
Quite good

The location of the Emirates towers is very convenient for business travellers and it's not very far from the airport. The room was spotlessly clean and well decorated. The one downside was the shower. The water pressure was quite weak but I suppose that must be the case for being in the desert.
The beds and pillows were comfortable and the services including housekeeping and laundry were very efficient. Foodwise there are plenty of choices and their breakfast buffet is well worth the high price. There are also plenty of well stocked up bars for a drink in the evening. Most of the restaurants do require an advance reservation though.
There were plenty of designer shops adjoining the hotel and other shopping is generally a short taxi ride away. Price wise the Emirates towers is on the expensive side - just like everything else in Dubai.
