Amazing Hotel
by davidvidgen
Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Service was amazing including your own personal butler.
Would definitely recommend this hotel. Only negative is the need to cross the road to its sister hotel to use the beach facilities.
This hotel is ideally situated for shopping at the many malls in Dubai, especially the Emirates Mall.
Unique Quality: Barr 44 has some spectacular views and the food at the Indego by Vineet was without doubt the best indian food I have ever tasted, and living in Birmingham, UK that say's a lot!

Awesome Hotel
by northernbaldy
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
We booked a three bedroom apartment and it exceeded our expectations. The room size was larger than we expected, it was well furnished and the beds were similar to Westin's Heavenly Beds - if you cannot get a good night's sleep in these beds .....
From the moment we arrived to the moment that we left, we experienced a high level of service from the staff. The bell staff were smart, professional and helped entertain our young children when we found ourselves at the front of the hotel. The front desk staff were professional and efficient as you would hope after a long journey. Finally, the F&B staff across all outlets were spot on and could not be faulted in their efficiency and dealing with our needs - one night a friend managed to spill some wine on his shirt and the waiter disappeared to find him a replacement shirt (it wasn't necessary but it was a thoughtful and welcome touch)
The hotel has a number of high end restaurants and bars and therefore in the evenings we rarely had to leave the hotel (which was a benefit as we could stay close to the children and their nanny).
One night we dined in an excellent Michelin star Indian restaurant, another was in a Gary Rhodes restaurant plus there is the famous Buddha Bar as well as a great bar at the top of the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best that we have encountered in a 5 star hotel. A large range of food catering for every taste - and as we were two families with a lot of young children the staff were great in taking care of us.
Nice little touches were the complementary valet parking and wifi.
The driveway was always full of Ferraris, Porsches, Rolls Royces etc which my two young boys loved .... even though they can barely pronounce the words.
Whilst we were there for a family holiday, we would have been just as happy as a couple having a romantic break or with a group of friends to enjoy the nightlife.
Finally, when we were researching where to stay in Dubai, Grosvenor House was also one of the best value options amongst its peer group so we were very well satisfied.
Unique Quality: When paired with the beach access and resort pools of the Royal Meridien, the Grosvenor House has absolutely everything that you could ask for in a luxury break

Great Hotel in Dubai Marina
by MM212
Run by le Méridien, the Grosvenor House hotel is one of the group's most luxurious hotels in Dubai. It is located in the Dubai Marina area with views of the Gulf and Palm Island. The hotel's service and amenities are great and meet the reputation of Dubai's excellence. The hotel has a nice spa and some superb restaurants. Also, located just outside the hotel is Buddha Bar, a fantastic place to have a drink. The only problem with the hotel is the terribly noisy construction just outside which could be heard at times in the rooms. I stayed at this hotel in Feb 2008 on a business trip to the UAE and would stay here again for sure, hopefully the construction will be over by then.

Excellent hotel
by Charlie_07
Service, excellent, rooms, excellent, food, excellent. Service ( again!) excellent.
The people who work here, are very kind. A humbling encounter.
All round a 9/10 points over all
Not cheap but well worth it.
Unique Quality: Nice spa facilities, excellent restaurants. The world famous Buddha Bar is attached to it. Great place, a must see for all you party people.
Book in advance. Very busy - they serve alcohol.

Good for Business Travel
by blackbeetle
With 45 stories one of the landmarks in the new Marina Area. I have booked a "normal" room and was upgraded to a club floor room at the 31 floor with a fantastic view about the sea! The hotel was opened in 2005 so you will find all the high tec toys like big flat screens, remote control for the lighting system etc.. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The pool area is fine, but the noise from the construction work around is bad... so for a short swim its ok, if you like to relax, the hotel has a shuttle to another Le Meridien at the beach (5 minutes, but you cant work). There you have several pools and the beach. The pool service is great, you get cools towels and small fruits for free.
One of the best things was the Club Lounge at the top floor... they serve all kinds of drinks and a small food selection around the day (all complementary).
Its in the middle of an construction work area... so its not possible to walk around the hotel...
I will definitely recommend this if you are on a business trip and your meeting is in this area!
Unique Quality: Great sea view, friendly staff and a fantastic bar (Buddha Bar) and you get Bulgari bath amenities. If you like very modern and exclusive hotels... the Grosvenor House is your choice!

City's Best Accomodation
by Irine_29 about Grosvenor House
Apart from the minimal but very expensive aesthetic, the hotel offers a flowless service ; the people here know very well how to make a guest feel very important & unique. We had a room on the 19th floor, with a panoramic view to the city, two plasma TV's, fresh fruits and chokies every day, wine, champagne, a private buttler and a limo for the transfers from/to the airport.
I tried the SPA & I was very satisfied,
Another very good reason to choose that hotel, is that on its ground floor, there is the famous Budha Bar. The meeting point for the reach and famous & the best place to sign a bussiness deal.
Amongst the best hotels in the World?
by TripAdvisor Member AdyJ
What a truly excellent hotel. Worth every penny. Taxi from the airport cost AED80. Upon arrival, the luggage was whisked away and check in completed very efficiently with complimentary drink and refreshing cold towell. Showed to our room on the 37th floor. Absolutely wonderful. Fantastic sea view. The top 10 levels are club rooms and are worth paying the extra for. As previous reviewers have said, the club lounge on the 44th floor serves complimentary soft drinks all day, afternoon tea, and pre dinner alcoholic drinks and canapes between 6 and 8. The canapes are so plentiful in both variety and quantity that it is very easy to have too many!
The pool area is great, but much of it goes into shade in the afternoon. If you want sun and pool, take the free shuttle to the sister hotel, The Royal Meridien, accross the road. The pools there are excellent, and the beach is golden and clean. You can charge drinks and food taken at the Royal Meridien to your room at Grosvenor House, so no need to take cash for a day on the beach.
They say that the Burj al Arab is the best hotel in Dubai, although I havent stayed there, I cant see how the service, food and ambience can be better than Grosvenor House. This must rank as one of the best hotels in the world.
Every luxury in the world in one hotel
by TripAdvisor Member Maureen76
Myself and my Partner have just returned from 5 wonderful nights in Grosvenor House. I had read several reviews before I booked the Hotel and was still pleasently surprised on arrival. We arrived at approx 11pm and the hotel foyer was full of lighting candles and the lovely voice of the resident singer. We were taken to our deluxe room (which was the basic room available). It was just beautiful. I can't imagine how the upgraded rooms could have been much better. Between the fresh Rose and Chocs each evening to the constant supply of bottled water and fresh fruit and canapes supplied each day, smiling staff and attention to detail, we had a great time. Weather is very very hot. taxis are cheap and there is a great free shuttle service between hotel to shopping malls, gold souk etc at designated times. Visit and be charmed and pampered all the way!!
Class the GH
by TripAdvisor Member tlc222
As regular travellers to Dubai we have stayed in several of the top end hotels. The Grosvenor House however is by far the best. The club rooms were superb, very classy and extremely comfortable.
The club lounge on the 44th floor was smart comfortable and the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast, afternoon tea or delicious evening canapes. Beware of the free flowing champagne though!
The staff were superb throughout the hotel.
A bonus was the shuttle across to the Royal Meridien hotel. Quite handy if you wanted to use the beach or just to chill out under the palm trees around the poolside.
(be warned though...this hotel has become quite a package type hotel and can get very busy and quite rowdy at times.)
The Buddha bar was cool and entertaining and is definitely worth a visit.
The pool area is classy and comfortable and the attendants very eager to help. A lovely touch was the tray of fruit, cold towels and water delivered to your sunbed soon after you arrived by the pool.
It was very quiet during our stay which is quite usual in Dubai in june. However, this suits us.
Would definitely recommend you try the GH if you are looking for a classy, luxurious stay in Dubai!
New level of service
by TripAdvisor Member starjohnday
After reading the gushing reviews on this website we booked and hoped for the best.......we where not disappointed!. The hotel was wonderful, the staff took customer service to another level and made you feel not only welcome but treated you like VIP's. Well done Kiran Joshi guest services Manager.
As previous reviewers have already stated the pool does go into the shade in the afternoon but don’t let that bother you because if you are a sun worshipper just get the very efficient shuttle service to drop you off at the Le Royal Meridian hotel (Grosvenor house's sister hotel) a couple of minutes away and you can soak up the rays on the Hotel beach.
Go half board as this will not only save you money but is really worthwhile as the quality of the food in Sloane’s (the buffet style restaurant) is quite frankly exceptional, all the food is cooked fresh and to your liking. My daughter being a ''picky'' eater did, spaghetti bolognaise nearly every night!.
There is a further two restaurants in the hotel we tried Ottomans (live Turkish music) and found the food and service was to the very high standard that we had come to expect.
Tips.
Do make use of the shuttle service to the Malls and the Gold souks. Get the concierge desk to book your trips i.e. Dune riding in 4x4 vehicles etc. Book your Taxi back to the airport through the hotel as this generally works out cheaper but most importantly ENJOY.

RE: New pool at Royal Meridien

Grosvenor House Hotel and Apartments which is located in Dubai Marina and owned by Le Meridien has got two swimming pools. This hotel is a big one and has all the facilities so the guests dont need to go to another place.
RE: RE: New pool at Royal Meridien

I know but guests are given access to the beach and therefore the pool area at the Royal Meridien. That is why they are building another pool area.
