Which of these two hotels
by booradley
Boy is it expensive to saty in Dubai!!
I have a 22 hour layover on route from india to UK. Need a safe clean hotel for the night (Late November). Can get a ecent rate forHighland Hotel and for New Peninsula Hotel. Which is best for souks and getting back to airport the next morning early
Thanks everyone
Boo

Highland hotel is better equiped and newer and perhaps the rate is higher. Both hotels are almost in the same area, so if the price is not a concern go for Highland hotel.
Safe trip & good luck.

Hi from Dubai!
Highland Hotel is in a very central location, but it's basically Dubai's number 1 "unofficial brothel" (formerly known as the Arif Castle Hotel).

Hey Amir, Dubai's most famous hotel is not the Burj Al Arab... it's the Arif Castle, no? haha!

Hi Jess,
I do agree with you that in many hotels prostitutes live and work, Arif Castle is one of them :-)

The New Peninsula isn't a unofficial brothel too is it? So is the whole area the red light ditrict? Any other suggestions.

Dear Boo,
Have you checked out the "Jonrad" hotel?
This one is only a 5 minute drive from the International Airport.
It's a simple budget hotel, but I often sell this one for stop overs in Dubai!

Enjoy your trip!
