Pleasant enough. I have no complaints with this hotel it did what it promised. It was a 10 min walk to the creek. There were enough restaurants in the local area all selling a variation on a theme of lebanese.
Unique Quality: None really, the saving feature of this place was the price. It was very reasonable compared to other similar places in and around the city. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the air con was a god send. We paid the extra and has the run of their executive lounge at the top of the hotel which gave us limited access to the internet, breakfast and other random snacks thoughout the day.

This is a fantastic place to stay especially you are here on a business trip or with family. Al Sondos Suites by Le Meridien Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Deira City Center shopping mall and close to Dubai Creek Golf and the famous Gold Souk. Upon arriving, I found the staff from the bellboy to the receptionist to be warm and helpful.
The room I got, which is actually like an apartment suite, has a kitchenette, living room and a separate bedroom. Without a doubt, this is a luxurious place where everything is 5-star quality from the furniture to facilities. The kitchenette is equipped with whatever you need to prepare a small meal and even a washing machine. The living room has comfortable sofa & chairs plus satellite TV and internet broadband connection. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and furnitures that make the room feel homely. Bathroom facilities are also complete with lovely toiletries.

The News Cafe is located in the Al Sondos Suites in Deira and is open 24 hours everyday. The ambience is warm and cosy, and the service is friendly. An extensive menu includes international and local dishes are available in the cafe. You can even enjoy your coffee and sheesha in the outdoors at Al Mabsam, or chill in inside whilst watching the latest news on the huge plasma TV I quite like the chicken soup with lemongrass and italian risotto
