Helpful Pinoy receptionists.. Good location.. Internet shop on ground floor.. night clubs in hotel..(not good) stayed in for one night.. 400 dhs per night.. clean and good place to stay..
The rooms are very simple - quite appropriately for 3-star hotels. Tidy Rooms, I must say. The main reason why I keep on staying in this hotel is its proximity to the City Centre. I have had my bitter experiences of waiting for more than an hour for a taxi and then to be refused by the driver because my hotel was very near. It was dreadful. Since I stay less than 24 hours in Dubai, I can't afford to waste time. The solution was for me to find a hotel which does not cost much and is a stone away from the mall. So when Ibis Hotel in Deira opened up, I registered immediately as A-Club Member and am now about to get my silver/gold card. Breakfast is very simple. Coffee is a bit bitter for my taste. And I am a Viennesse.
The hotel is located opposite the Deira City Centre shopping mall and is only 5 minutes from Dubai Intl Airport (if there is no traffic) and 15 minutes from the World Trade Center. The hotel offers 365 airconditioned rooms a bistro restaurant and a bar. Guests can enjoy the convenience of internet access in all rooms and WiFi in the lobby. The hotel has a bar which is quite nice. After a long shopping tour, sit down in their bar and order a cold cocktail. Really cool.

Directions: It's next to Novotel. Drivers may fool you if you go to other hotels but not when you say Ibis Deira City Centre next to the Deira Mall City Centre because everybody knows this mall.
We stayed here for 4 days, move to abu dhabi and needed to checked out.. by the time we came back.. all rooms are fully booked..
I will always consider staying at this hotel for this offers the cheapest I found.. 200 dhs per night for a double room.. Fairly clean rooms.. good running condtion a/c and comfortable beds..
location is very near Fish Round About, Deira. Right across Montreal Hotel.
The Pacific hotel is located in Deira downtown. Alot of people come to Dubai and just go straight to Jumeirah and dont see the downtown, which is where the culture is. The hotel is 2 star, and really only recommended for budget travellers, even tough its $80(220d)/night for a double. It very basic and not all that clean, not got aircon, and isnt in the best area.its located right by sabkha bus station which is conveniant.
Never stayed in this hotel though I always call to check for availability.. They're fully booked til dec5 of 2007 and plan to move by then.. one of the cheapest rates.. 250 dhs for double room. beside is a good chinese restaurant where we often eat lunch..
West Hotel in Naif Road has become the home for me and my chinese colleague here in Dubai staying for more than 10 days now. One of the cheapest accommodation I found in Dubai. They are giving 250 dhs per night per room (double room).. Changed a bit high during air show event to 300 (but we still managed to pull down to 275).. now back to 250 dhs / night..
Has a few indian night club on ground floor and mezanine.. has a coffee shop.. an iron and iron board on each floor (use for all) which is ok.. bone-chillin a/c. mini bar and TV.
Has a lot of wireless connection available on Room 303.. balcony side... hahaha
