Marco Polo

The Marco Polo is a really nice hotel. The rooms have a great design. The facilities are good. The hotel offers a swimming pool, which is really nice and big enough. I was very satisfied with the breakfast as it is really expended and tastefull. One can choose from several warm and cold dishes. The Marco Polo hotel is located in the district of 'Deira'. From here it is easy to go to the metro station and the several busses. The beds are comfortabele. The rooms will be cleaned everyday. The staff is friendly.

Unique Quality: The pool is one of the outsanding characteristisc of the Marco Polo hotel. It was bigger than I expected and very relaxing. There are several chairs available next to the swimming pool. Furtherwise the location is also one of the outstanding characteristiscs.

Marco Polo Hotel is a really nice four star property in deira. Its one of the good hotels in Dubai. There are 128 rooms in this hotel. Its just 15 minutes drive from airport and 10 minutes from city centre. Free airport pick and drop facility is available. Their staff is friendly and efficient. Reception staff was always very helpful. I was on Emirates package so I just paid $65 per night for single room otherwise their room rates are above $100 per night.

All rooms are equipped with individual control AC, 26 channel TV, private bath n shower, IDD telephone, daily newspaper, safe, mini bar and hair dryer facilities. 24 hours room service is also available. Room rate per night is appox $ 100.

Six restaurants at hotel serve food of your choice."The Explorer" coffee shop and grill operates 24 hours a day. It serves coffee, pasta, rice, curry, steaks, sandwiches, pastries, mini meals and desserts.

"El Rancho" open every night from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Its Margaritas are famous in town. It has got a bar and spacious dining area. Another attraction is live performance by popular bands.

"Manila Garden" serves food and drinks of Philippines. It is open from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and then 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

"Fox & Hounds" is a typical English pub serving a variety of international beverages. The resident band performs every evening. It is open from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

"African Star is hotel's nightclub. Ethopian band performs there and guests can enjoy Ethopian food and spirits till early morning.

"Bombay Brasserie" is traditional Indian restaurant at Marco Polo hotel. It is open from 7 p.m. till midnight.
