On Wednesday evenings from 7pm-10.30pm there is Fondue Night at The Fountain Restaurant. You can choose cold meats and cheeses to start with before having either steak or cheese fondue. Afterwards there is a chocolate fountain for dessert with fruit and marshmallows. The price is 99AED per adult with drinks extra. The Fountain also has an International Buffet at the same time. The restaurant is very clean and staff are very attentive. Cheese fondue.

just wana know how much a taxi cost in dubai for the following trip:
1) airport to medinat jumeirha hotel.
2)medinat jumeirah to rimal rotana.
3) rimal rotana to movenpick hotel
3) WTC to the airpoort

If you take a taxi from the airport itself, the initial fee will already be Dhs 25.- The drive to Madinat Jumeirah will cost approx. Dhs 35.-
A taxi from around the airport but *not* at the airport itself has an inital fee of Dhs 3.50-
Rimal Rotana Suites is pretty close to the airport, so again the fee would be around Dhs 30 - 35.-
Rimal Rotana to Moevenpick hotel is only a short drive over Garhoud bridge, so probably around Dhs 10 - 15.-
WTC to the airport would be around Dhs 15 - 20.-
1 US Dollar = 3.67 Dirhams

I took a taxi from adu dhabi to dubai by taxi - agreed price 220 dirhams (1.5 hrs) but could have bargained 200. On return took a taxi from dubai to adu dhabi international airport cost 240 on taxi meter (approx 1.5 hrs) . On departure to the abu ahabi airport left hotel in dubai before 6am to aviod dubai morning traffic as had 9.50am flight.
Drivers very friendly and english ok. Suggest if you get a good driver get his mobile number if you have scheduled appointment during yr stay and set something up.
This bar, located in the for payment side of the Millenium Hotel, is a great relaxing spot to have a pint and watch some cricket or football. Very laid back, WWII decore, complete with replica posters of 'support the Allied war effort' and women going into the factories. In the middle of the main hall is a replica paratroopers descending in a parachute. There are severa TVs, each with different sports There are 9 types of beer on tap, including Guinness, Amstel Light, Stella Artois and other British favorites
