Hi there,
I believe the price should be slightly lower in Dubai. There are few outlets of timberland in Dubai, these are their contact detail:

Timberland® - Dubai

Unit B, 37A,
Dubai, AE
+9714 341 0677

Timberland - Dubai

Level 1, Deira City Center
Dubai, AE
+9714 295 5551

3 NEW STORE
Timberland® - Dubai

The Egyptian Pavillion, ibn battuta mall

+971 4366 9779

Good luck.

hello lisa -
in general its cheaper than elsewhere but in the uk sure youll get better deals on sales , UAE vendors of timberland and some alike brands dont throw a real sale .. its like 20% off max when they do - and having tried timberland myself, like here and back in the uk -i ve felt that quality is different and much worse although it looked the same thou as if it was made just for the gulf region somehow-

Lisa
It really depends if it is sales season. I find generally they are cheaper in Dubai because there is no sales tax?

The Dubai Outlet Mall also have a Timberland outlet but again they have limited design and sizes.

Hope you get your pressie...

Travel Tips for Dubai

BRANDED FOR DEAR LIFE

by Siddha3th

This is an extremely brand-obsessed city. But you probably already knew that. Any place touting itself as the 'City of Gold' can't really be too shy about wearing its materialistic heart on its sleeve, now can it? From clothes to cars to mobile phones to what school you want to be sending your kids to - the 'Name' is the end-all and be-all driving factor behind most things.

This branded tunnel-vision is probably most responsible for enveloping the city in a surreal Disneyland-meets-Las Vegas type bubble, where superficiality reigns supreme - a double layer of cream atop the stunningly assembled, saccharine sweet cake.

It can all start to get real tedious real quick, so always have an escape route at the ready. Like with most good things, you need to dig beneath the glittering surface to encounter the city's far more interesting stories and characters. I'd draw you a map, but this is one trip you probably need to be taking on your own... :)

Mirdif Residential area

by uglyscot

A popular area for ex-pats in Dubai. It is in the south on the road to Jebel Ali. Houses are modern but to date the facilities are few- the odd super market, photocopy, dry cleaners etc
Across Rebat St is Uptown Mirdif shopping area and residential complex- the reason why rents have risen considerably recently. The complex has many known shops, a bank, and Spinneys a grocery etc shop found throughout the Gulf.
Many of the houses are in guarded complexes with a communal pool, and very modern. Other buildings are huge , almost like palaces.
The major disadvantage is that it is close to the flight path to Dubai International airport. So, if you are outdoors the noise is loud, but cannot be heard from inside.

Lamcy Plaza - The right choice for shopping

by najamrulz

Lamcy Plaza is one of Dubai's most popular shopping malls located next to the American Hospital, near the Zabeel Road in Bur Dubai. It was inaugurated on 17th March 1997 by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

This five story mall has theme inspired from Tower of London. It is designed in the tradition of a department store. All floors are open-plan concession-style and gives you feeling of shopping in a departmental store.

You can enjoy movies at Lamcy cinema which is attached to the plaza. Or you may listen your favorite songs on exclusive Lamcy Radio during shopping. Lamcy Hypermark at fourth floor is one of the best in Dubai. It offers you great discounts and huge items for shopping. It also offers food items from around the world.

Food courts at ground floor offer you great variety of food. International cusine from around the world is available. Kids can enjoy at fun land located next to food court. This floor also offers currency exchange service, post office, florist, gift wrapping, picture framing, pharmacy, mobile phone shop, shoe repair and photo processing facility. Mostly Dubai's Asian and Eastern European residents come here for shopping.

Interior of the shopping mall is very confusing and you would never realize that you have entered next outlet while looking at products. So try to locate your desired outlet first otherwise you may waste lot of your time. There are 150 outlets offering branded jewellery, perfume, beauty products, ladies wear, men's wear, shoes and accessories, watches, eyewear, kids clothes and toys, household equipment, luggage, camping and sporting goods.

Few of the popular shops in Lamcy Plaza are Paris Gallery, BHS, Guess, Ciro Citerio, Damas, Giordano, Nine West, Indigo Nation, Gasoline, Diesel, Bossini, Bally, Books Plus and Shoe Mart. Although there is great variety of products at reasonable prices but it is very difficult to locate any specific outlet in this shopping mall. Prices are fixed here so there is no game of bargaining.

Get Your Chemistry By ZINC

by Rinjani about ZINC

Zinc is located in Crowne Plaza, Sheikh Zayed Road. The club reaches its peak crowd at Thursday night. The layout of Zinc is divided into three, Bar, eating place (also couch where you can hang around with friends) and dance floor.
They usually have a great band every Thursday and the songs will make you go to the dance floor immediately. Usually the band starts at 10 PM.

At Thursday night, unfortunately guys…..you can’t enter Zinc as a single guy. You need to be a couple. If you can manage to get a girl who wants to be five minute girlfriend until the entrance door, it should be all right. Otherwise, you have to pay cover charge. Dress smart casual and the shoes is a must. Don’t wear short pant or sandals. They wont allow you to go in. And don’t forget to carry your ID, such as passport copy, or any kind of ID (driving license, employment card, etc)

Fresh Seafood...

by RinaNeo about Majlis Al Akbar, Burj Al-Arab

Dining by the beach and enjoying the soft wind that blows right through your hair can be the most romantic experience. To add to the wonderful experience , imagine you the sight of Burj Al -Arab just in front of you, singers serenating christmas songs while you're enjoying the yummy seafood...

Book a place at Burj Al-Arab Majlis Al Akbar and you're get all this experince...
Price is a little expensive , Seafood Plater at 590 dhm. I guess the price includes the ambients and the very professional service and the entrance to Burj Al- Arab and drinks at the 27th storey .

All this wonderful experience is just fantastic, especially when it is on Christmas Day...

Tried it once in your life, and that's about it.. coz millions and millions of people go to bed hungry every night...

NO MORE NEXT TIME FOR ME!!! Go for seafood...
