Mid-range hotel
This is a fairly typical four-star chain hotel. The staff work at a leisurely pace, so expect that check-in may be a little frustrating if you've arrived on a long-haul flight. The rooms are comfortable, water is plentiful, and breakfast is a delight. The hotel is situated in the Deira area, not far from the central business district, and about a 5-minute ride from the DXB airport. Unfortunately, due to its location, virtually noplace a visitor might want to go is within walking distance, so transportation by taxi is necessary. That is the price one pays for a more modest rate, I suppose.
Unique Quality: Good value for money.

Unique Quality: This hotel houses the worlds largest stained glass window. Something in the area of 10 stories high if i remember correctly.

Need advice on journey times
Hi, I will be visiting Dubai with my son for his 21st Birthday present on March 9th for a few days. We are staying at the Ramada Continental Hotel and I would like to know the approximate travel times from this hotel to the following Golf courses that we will be playing.
1. Jebel Ali Golf resort
2. Emirates Golf Club
3. Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
Also, for other times when we are not playing golf what are the 'Must see' sights in Dubai.

Maybe its wiser to play Golf in the nearest Golf course due to heavy traffic & travel time!!

Hi, welcome to VT.
As Amir said, traffic can be a major problem and time it takes depends entirely on the time of day you want to play. For example, a 20 minute journey at the weekend can take 2 hours in weekday peak traffic!
If you want to play in the mornings, from your hotel you'll be going with the major traffic flow and it's gridlock.
If you leave it until after, say, 10am you'll get a better run.
The nearest to you is the Creek course, then Emirates (about 30 kilometres) and then Jebel Ali (maybe 40-odd kilometres).
