Service Extraordinaire

My stay at the Metropolitan Hotel was a most rewarding experience. I enjoyed all of the amenities. The cuisine at the restaurants in the hotel was outstanding. Room service was very prompt. The Hotel staff was very pleasant and proficient. I have just returned from 2 days of rest and relaxation in Dubai and I stayed at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel., again. It was very nice to be remembered.
The Hotel is only a fifteen minute taxi ride from the International Airport. The staff was very prompt to open the taxi door. A buffet breakfast and complimentary cocktail was included in my package.

Unique Quality: The unique qualities that I enjoyed was the sauna and rooftop pool. I felt like a King. This is my second visit to the Metropolitan Palace Hotel and I commend everyone at the hotel for their hospitality and gracious behavior. For my second visit, I was again impressed with the lobby area, glass elevators, chandeliers, food quality and elegant appeal.

Nice hotel with nice location

by ssweetest about Metropolitan Palace

The hotel was nice - but not the best. It has a nice location in the city center. Clean rooms nice service, but not very nice food - I tried the breakfast buffet once and didn't do it again. The concierge was friendly but didn't help much, he didn't know some of the places I was asking about althought he tried his best. The great thing about the hotel was the other branch ! they have another hotel on the other part of the city on the beach with sea activities with a free bus to take you there, but I didn't have time to try it ! you know shopping shopping ! :)
I don't recommend this hotel for families with kids !

Exquisite dining with Panage

by jwilliams2005 about Tahiti Restaurant

The Tahiti Restaurant, located in the Metropolitan Palace Hotel, was a wonderful experience. The ambience was refreshing and unique with an inlaid canal and artistic design. I really enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, the hammond fish, and the sirloin. All tastefully presented.

GULF LINK TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

by jwilliams2005

Dubai has established itself as the first port call in the gulf for business and tourists. In addition to its oustanding, luxurious hotels, Dubai hosts a range of international sporting events. The annual Dubai Desert Classic attracts world class golfers and golfing enthusiasts, as well as the ATP Tennis Open. If you are looking for an adventurous experience, treat yourself to vacationing in Dubai. Please remember that from October 15th until November 15th, is Ramadah. Meaning there will be no music at discos, or bellydancing. Most restaurants are closed until after 6pm, because of fasting.

Metropolitan Palace Hotel staircase. This is where I had the pleasure of staying while on vacation in Dubai. The hotel has 212 tastefully-appointed luxurious suites and rooms, a butler service and Far Eastern, Arabic & European decor. It has four restaurants, nautius health center, jacuzzi, swimming pool on the roof, sauna and access to its private beach facilities. What a way to treat yourself.

Burj Al Arab Hotel. (meaning "Arabian tower") is the world's most luxurious all-suite hotel. It stands on a man made island, 280 meters offshre. Built in the shape of a billowing sail, it offers 202 duplex suites with personal butler service, seven restaurants, including one 200 meters abve the Gulf and one under water, a health club and spa. It even has a helo-pad.

by Div10

Hi, I am a EU passport holder and know I can obtain a visa on arrival. My husband has a kenya passport, but lives as a residence in the UK. How do we go about obtaining a visa?

Is the metropolitian palace hotel any good and he is close to the shopping malls?

Thanks

Need to know asap.
