Great Family Stay

I recently stayed with my family and some friends at the Resort part of the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah and is was great.

We stayed in one of the new Premier Beach Villa Suites and we found it spacious and luxurious. The whole resort is well laid out, has great facilities and the beach club is very popular and we loved it.

The hotel has several restaurants, bars and even a Kid's Club, with evening entertainment and somethig for everyone. Unlike many other resorts in the UAE, the Hilton RAK's food/beverage is not overpriced and is of an excellent quality.

The resort is very busy and the main restaurant can get a bit busy, especially at breakfast, but the staff are very helpful and very friendly. Very professional attitude.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for couples, families and weekend break seekers.

We just returned from a wonderful stay in the Hilton r.a.k. resort and spa.
We stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it!
We didn't go anywhere because this is the most relaxing place to be,and for sure our favorite place we ever stayed!!

We are diamond hilton member so we used to travel all over the world,but we felt more pampered than anywhere else!!

We can tell you about the nice chalet,food,beach.pools....etc.
but you better find it out yourself,you will love it!!
Due to the most friendly staff :
It is like heaven on earth!!!!!!

Thank you all!!!We will be back for sure!!

you have to know that this hilton is in the Emirate of RAS AL KHAIMAH,one hour and a half from Dubai but quite close to the Oman border towards the "detroit d'ormuz";
The hotel is not on the beach (7minutes with the shuttle) but has a very good confort (very nice rooms just like mini suites,nice bed linen ,perfect service);internet in the rooms but not free;
the buffet (for breakfast or dinner )is gorgous and of a good quality;wines are expensive!
the people are terribly nice,very helpfull and at the same time reserved,;
nice swimming pool;nice greens not so far for those playing golf ;nothing much to see around or in the town.
you can rent a car in the hotel and go to Oman (lovely beaches with no body and splendid macadam brand new roads)do not forget passport ,papers of the vehicule and special insurance (they are very formal)
A brand new part of the hilton has been buit on the beach (bungalos) it is very beautifull and luxurious,choose those if you can aford it;

We had a fabulous time and would not hesitate for a moment to return or recommend your hotel highly.

I use to train staff in customer service from all areas of the workplace -the staff here were unsurpassable!! Here is a list of some of the staff that really caught my attention as being outstanding.

Regina from the Waterbreaker Restaurant, very attentive at all times, trying hard to accommodate and succeeding! Also up selling any themed evening,, band or entertainment night that was happening.

Shane who is 'god like' to my children James and Imogen. James and Imogen always made a bee line for Shane whenever they saw him and he would play chess with James in the Club - he was great.

Bernard was very good also from the Waterbreaker, very attentive at all times - always a big smile and welcome.

Frannie was extremely helpful - I had a lovely massage on the beach with Pamela.

All the Chefs were fabulous - especially the frontline one's working outside in the evenings. I'm sorry I can't remember their names but the little Chinese chef (lady) was lovely, so eager to please and the male chef brilliant. We all thought the food was exceptional

Sacha and the entire reception team were brilliant and very observant , always knew us by name. (was that good or bad!?!). Extremely helpful with all requests - going that extra mile, especially Stephanie and Cindy.

Josephine at the beach bar was fabulous, she had a extremely bubbly personality , fantastic smile and so friendly , a real asset. On the morning of my birthday, Josephine happened to be walking pass or villa whilst we were enjoying breakfast - she came over to me to wish me a happy birthday.

Minerva, trainee staff in waterbreaker restaurant was so good we thought she was fully trained. Really sweet girl and very attentive. Trying really hard to get it all right.

We left Hilton RAK on my birthday 13th April 2008 . My husband arranged breakfast outside the villa and it was beatifically done by Bernard, Jose and team. We stayed in Dubai for a couple of days before returning home I wish we had spent the entire duration of our stay with you as it was so beautiful - we will definately be returning in the very near future and see the development of the hotel which looks incredible.

This place is a dump....do not be taken in by their website. The rooms look nothing like the photos on the site. Probably a 2 star hotel. Nothing around it, filthy kitchen and food is loaded with grease. Photo is a view from my window

This was undoubtly 1 of the best experiences I have had in the Middle East..this hotel is so posh and so worth ur money.We stayed in a private villa overlooking the beach with a massive balcony and spacious villa with a living rm incl a plsama scree, a separate bedroom with a plasma and bath/shower was gorgeous all in separate rooms..like the perfect house/villa...I wasnt planning to go bk to RAK because there not much 2 do there..but just to spend 7-10days here I would defintley go bk..beats Dubai which is so over populated and traffic traffic all day long except fridays...We stayed at the Hilton first of all but it was not up 2 our expectation and spent the last 3 days here and it made up for the whole holiday..

5 Stars Hotel Services, best choice in RAK

It's A 5 stars hotel services, Best food in the UAE, Staff Are ammaizing Helpful, Rooms Are clean quite, it's a home away from home, it's the best choice, rates are reasonable,
Staff are really cordial and hospitable.
It was my second trip to this hotel since 2006 i was surprised that the staff still recognaize me, and the services are up-to-date they treat theire guests as a VIP.

A fantastic break

We (family of four, two children aged 5 and 5mths) have just returned from a truly relaxing break at The Hilton Resort and Spa, RAK during half term week.
If a relaxing break in the sun, in a quiet yet high quality hotel is what you're looking for then this will certainly fit the bill.
A previous review mentioned the building work and yes there is a pretty massive project going on which by the end of 08 have the hotel finished but don't let this worry you as it is fully functional as it is. Ask for a chalet near the Dome Bar/Restaurants and you genuinely won't even notice it. In fact, the resort is far quieter at this end, has three fantastic pools - one covered which is a welcome relief as the other two are like baths by mid afternoon ! and the better part of the beach.
The staff are as you would expect from this part of the world, exceptional (why don't we get this in Europe ???). The food, whilst in the main being buffet style, is of a good quality.
All in all well worth the trip, feel totally relaxed and are looking forward to making a return visit.
