Camping or luxury lodge?
On Broughton Island, you havea choice between a hideosly expensive lodge by the harbour, or a free campground open to the elements just behind the runway. We were booked into the campground...pictures in the travelogue...
Luckily for us, the weather was clear and sunny, so cooking outdoors with views over the sea towards the icy mountains on the mainland was a highlight. It is a rather exposed spot though, so in foul weather, camping may not be as much fun.
