Greatest place on PEI to relax, 5 min walk to beach - just need the supplies for the week and you don't need to leave the cottages. Hosts are so accommodating and enjoying the place themselves so much, it is contagious!
On Site there is a Landry house, each cottage has a very unique low to ground patio, satellite tv, wireless internet access and telephone with long distant calls included!
Next summer we're coming for more than a week.
Btw Congratulation for the website: goodviewcottages.ca
it is so informative with great pictures and easy to book on line
Oceanfront in the PEI National Park, Endless beach with dunes 5 min walk away, privacy, kids-free, central location – golfing facilities within 20km – entertainment / shopping in Charlottetown, 30km bike path right at the door, walk to the harbor to eat or pickup the fish for BBQ, start kayaking right from the goodview cottages from entrance.
We were welcomed during the family's preparations for their daughter's wedding. Their focus during our stay was primarily related to the wedding on the Friday. I think they over did the hints on religion as there was just too much of this laying around in the rooms. Running a B&B is not a an opportunity to push your religion. In hindsight they would have been better to close up as a B&B until after the wedding.
I stayed here during the first week of July 2003. The cottages are centrally located on Prince Edward Island and are close to a drive-in theater, golf, beaches, and deep sea fishing. They also had a pool and a family special during the first week of July. If you are going to pei you may want to consider these cottages. There web address is www.centennialcottages.ca and there telephone number is 800-592-4217.
They have a pool, free videos, beach pass, laundry facilities, and games room.
