The Worst In Banff
This horrible 'resort' is nothing more than a grouping of over-priced wooden cabins right next door to an over-crowded tourist hiking spot.
Some staff at the dining room were friendly enough, but management was horrible and slightly...ahem...incompetent.
Unique Quality: Rooms: Unclean, crowded, tacky, and drafty.
Grounds: Looked like someone had run through with a chainsaw.
Gift Shop: Crowded with tourists and overpriced...nothing new in Banff.
Snack Bar: Friendly staff, but dirty, and the food was terrible and never to order. Cooks could always be heard complaining about food orders.
Dining Room: "Mom and Pop Shop" comes to mind. Over-priced, and infested with mice, flies, mosquitoes, and run-of-the-mill food thats passed off as 'gourmet'.
