The original meaning of Luxury

We didn't actually stay. We spent and hour and toured the building and grounds. Yup, they offer tours.

Unique Quality: The Banff Springs is the original hotel of the railroad and offered the highest class service to it's guests. Everything was deluxe including the view and services. The Central Pacific built the hotel to provide a quality place for guests to stay while visiting the hot sulphur springs. This created an alternate traffic beyond freight and helped build the territory and the railroad.

Banff's hotel Icon

I have never stayed here because A) it is only an hour away from home and B)It is expensive and more than we spend on hotels. Having said that, the Banff Springs hotel has long been an Icon in the area and if your looking for qualtiy accomodation in the Rockies, this tops the list.

Luxurious...Fit for royalty

I visited the hotel, but couldn't afford to stay here. If you can afford it, I recommend it, and then...please let me know how it was...

Banff

This is a great hotel for everybody.

We got a free upgrade to a suite just having a Visa Gold Card. The view was breath taking and the service was great.

It takes a little while for the vallet parking to get your car, but that gives you time to enjoy your hot cup of chocolate or browse on the stores.

Unique Quality: I really liked the fact that they have an special check-in for kids, where I got some stickers, color book and other goodies.
