Front country luxury in a backcountry setting
Mt. Engadine lodge is a front country lodge because it is accessible by road. That said, the lodge is a backcountry experience with views and skiing out its back door.
We have been coming to Mt. Engadine lodge for our winter ski holiday year after year. The cross country ski experience is second to none with groomed track (skating and classic) skiing at the near by Mt. Shark area, Peter Lougheed Park and Canmore Nordic Center. Backcountry (skier set tracks) skiing surrounds Engadine.
Lodging is "European Style". The lodge's founders were Swiss. Accommodations include both shared and private baths.
Meals are enjoyable chief's selection courses. Note that meals are included in the per person pricing.
Unique Quality: Location, location, location.
