Great Price, Great Stay!
When I suggested Econolodge to my boyfriend he said, "Sounds crap and cheap" but when I showed him photos on their website he changed his mind. Econolodge Banff Trail is really well-furnished, has a pool, lift, vending machines and they provide internet cables if you have your own laptop, free of charge. They do complimentary continental breakfast too. A hundred yard walk will take you to the train station which brings you to downtown Calgary in 5-10 minutes for $2.25 CAD.
Despite the name and the price, Econolodge is one of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed in!
