Right in the heart of the Kensington shopping district overlooking the Bow river. It is very close to the light rail which makes it very easy to get around Calgary. You can request rooms with a fireplace if you like.

Kensington Riverside Inn
Having my own"hotel" in Calgary, I can only rely on friend's recommendations.
The Kensington River Inn wins hands down for comfort, class, and convenience. Located by the light rail transit system, it's a convenient place to stay if you are in Calgary on business, or if you need a central location. It is also located in the Kensington area, which has shopping and restaurants. There is also free parking, a plus in downtown Calgary.
Unique Quality: Polar fleece or thick terry cotton robes, fireplaces, appetizers in the evening, and homemade cookies. Delicious breakfasts; The staff are extemely professional and helpful.
