Cliff climbing is also possible.
The Canyon is narrow about 3 to 5 m wide on average, the height appears more than 30 m, but for the exact height you can ask the climbers who are often scaling the cliffs on either side.
The path is rough and covered in boulders and as I mentioned there is a flow of water, except in times of drought.
On the walls it is possible to see hieroglyphics or rock paintings, you have to look carefully and maybe about 2 m above the canyon floor. .
A warning the Canyon may be too confining for some people, it is some 2 kms long and the rogh nature of the rocks under foot slow everyone down. Other points of interest include some interesting Inukshuks.
