Westridge Country Inn

Clean, well-appointed rooms, complete with nice features like a fireplace, balcony and great view of the mountains. They seem to be about $20 less than other comparable hotels in the area, and the price includes a continental-style breakfast (cereals, toast, fruit, muffins and a few cold cuts). Train noise was non-existent, even with the window wide open, probably because they're on the east side of Bow Valley Trail, and there's a large hotel between them and the tracks. One warning - they apparently do a lot of tour business, which means that there will be a bus idling for 20 minutes every morning in front of the hotel, around 7:30 AM. If you like to sleep later than that, ask for a room on the north end of the hotel, or anything facing the rear (but then you'll miss the mountain view). Would definitely stay here again.
