A good choice

The Best Western Jurassic Inn is a comfortable family hotel located right as you come into town from Highway 9.

The lady at the front desk was polite and efficient. We had no problems checking in or out. They have candies and cookies on the front desk for guests to enjoy. There is popcorn served in the breakfast room each evening. You can also buy postcards at the front desk.

Our room was spacious and had a king sized bed with 6 soft pillows, a desk and chair, tv, fridge (no mini-bar) and a microwave. There is free wireless internet in the rooms.

There seemed to be ample parking for all of the guests. We were able to park right in front of the hotel doors each time we came back.

Breakfast is included and had french toast, cereal, and some fruit. The best part was the waffle maker and batter. It took about 3 minutes to make your own fresh waffle. There is a good family restaurant and lounge named Stavro's right next door.

The Inn has a hot tub and a sauna, but they are closed for renovations in 2008.

I did not see an elevator anywhere.

We paid $200 for one night (including tax).

One of the Many

This is pretty much like most other Best Westerns out there except for the dinosaur theme. If you have your own transport the location is great if not, it is a little way out of downtown. They have wireless internet and the pool is of decent size. They have 31 rooms and 3 suites. The fire alarm went off early one morning I was here because there was a problem with their furnace which I was not happy with but oh well. I don't remember the exact price per night because I got a government rate which knocked the price down a few bucks but I believe it is around $100 Canadian a night.
