It's a typical Best Western, so you can expect clean, basic rooms with decent service, but nothing spectacular. In the south of Edmonton at a major intersection, it really is in the middle of nowhere in terms of attractions. But for a place outside of the city core, it has a surprisingly convenient location. There are numerous other hotels in the area, along with lots of stand-alone restaurants, so your eating options are plentiful. A huge supermarket is just across the street - just watch the traffic. A large mall is about a 15 minute walk away. And if you have a car, the Whitemud Freeway is closeby, and loads more shops and restaurants south of the freeway.
The only southside stop for the Red Arrow bus to Red Deer or Calgary.
