It was under another name, I believe, when I was here, but I understand it's standards are still as good or better.
I was here on business, and this was an excellent property, didn't take long to reach from the airport, and direct to where I was going in Sherwood Park.
The property felt safe for a woman traveling alone, the room was comfortable, the in-house restaurant was good. I believe there was a pool, I wasn't looking. I was impressed with the fact that all the outside parking spots had plug-ins for the block heaters, due to the extreme cold of winter.
There has been a lot built up in the area now, and for the shop-aholic, this is a great area. All the "big-box" stores are here, lots of restaurants, and movie theatres. Not too far to drive downtown, or to escape out of town either.
