Fantasyland Hotel: Great Fun Place to Stay with Theme Rooms..    Check Rates

    • Fantasyland Hotel, which is located in West Edmonton Mall, is a great place to stay, as you can shop all day and drop dead at your room afterwards!! Then you can go out for supper, or to a movie and never have to leave..I love staying there...We usually stay for our anniversary every year in one of the theme rooms..

    • Forget their theme rooms - they're really tacky. Otherwise, their rooms and overall apperance of the hotel is actually surprisingly classy. I've found the service to be very good as well.

    The only hotel in the world's largest mall.. so you could literally spend days without stepping foot outside. Definitely no shortage of shops, restaurants, or activities!

    FANTASYLAND HOTEL: A uniquely designed hotel within the mall compound & each room is decorated with a specific theme. Incredibly creative concept!


    C$175-$300.

    I had an Executive Room which came with a full size Jacuzzi.
    Other themed rooms available are:
    African Room, Arabian Room, Canadian Rail Room, Hollywood, Igloo, Polynesian, Roman, Truck, Victoria Coach, World Waterpark, & Western Room. Check them out at the official website, FantasylandHotel.com. A very cool hotel indeed!

    Well, it all depends on which part of the city you would like to stay. Costs for a hotel room are pretty reasonable in Edmonton. Most venture to stay at the Fantasyland Hotel at WEM cause it's close to the mall. They also have unique theme rooms (I kinda think it's a bit cheesy but hey) that you can choose from, but they can get pricey.

    One of the most unique hotels in the world, with 355 guest rooms featuring 118 theme rooms. I stayed in the truck room (the only one available when we arrived). We slept in the back of a pick-up truck. A queen-size bed was 'parked' in the back of an actual half-ton truck! The room was decorated with an antique gas pump and traffic lights. There was also a Jacuzzi to relax in. What a night...

    • Fantasyland Hotel in West Edmonton Mall. They have theme rooms such as Roman, Polynesian, Truck, Hollywood, and Victorian Coach Rooms. I've stayed in most, and they're a hoot. Good place to stay.

    I stayed at the Fantasy Land Hotel and it was in the Polynisian Room. It was certainly a novelty but be prepared to pay over $200 CDN for the experience, not sure if I would do it again!

    It is convenient if you are going to be at the mall a lot and a great jacuzzi! If you havn't been it's worth the visit.

    There are some nearby hotels that will save you some money. The Mayfeild Inn and Suites is a good option.

    Located right in the West Edmonton Mall and very convenient that way!
