Hey guys,
Can someone give me some names of hotels close to the Rexall Center. Perferably not too expensive.

Most hotels use the West Ed. mall as a landmark. Is that close to the Rexall?

Closer than the Intn'l airport but still not very close. Rexal is only 1-2 miles from Jasper and 101. Stay downtown and cab it. Go to mapquest.ca you will see the location

The Best Western North Edmonton Inn is 5 minutes away

The Rexall is on the LRT, the Edmonton "Light Rapid Transit" - a sort of "subway" system that runs partially underground and partially above ground, and it goes from the north east (where the Rexall is) right to downtown, across the river, and to the university. You don't have to stay near the Rexall to have quick access to it, most of the downtown hotels are within a 5 minute walk of the LRT, and the LRT is no more then a 10 minute ride from downtown to Rexall.
West Edmonton Mall is nowhere near either Rexall or downtown, although an express bus, the #100, travels from downtown to WEM in about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on time of day and the traffic.
