"Tower" not far from a small park..

Apartment-style suite hotel.

Unique Quality: Though I have never stayed in a hotel in Edmonton before, for work I have become familiar with a few of them. This one is not well known, and certainly a no-thrills suite-hotel. But for its price and location it's not bad for the budget traveler who isn't willing to go without a few things.

Full kitchens with a grocery store nearby, the High Level Streetcar that runs between downtown and Old Strathcona (operates May to October) stops at the back of the hotel. Half a block from a small but beautiful park and the river valley.

Things worth noting though: no A/C, frequent school groups (and thus school children rukus).

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
