West Edmonton Mall Theme Rooms...
by jenniferhen
West Edmonton Mall Theme Rooms are the best! If you are here in the summer, camping is a great choice as well.
I paid $99 for one night, which was totally worth it, each room has a jacuzzi too!! You can stay in theme style rooms ranging from Hollywood to a igloo....they are super fun! They are a fair price for what you get, especially if you take advantage of their 'specials'.

by vtveen about Edmonton - Catchick’s Bed & Breakfast
With a map of Edmonton on my lap and turning left and right many times we reached Catchick’s Bed & Breakfast. After unpacking we made a chat with our host Tony Catchick and it turned out he had worked in a milk factory in our hometown Apeldoorn in the Netherlands.
If you don’t like a cooked breakfast better tell it Tony the night before, otherwise you will get your baked potatoes and eggs and … on your plate the next morning. We just could save a pot of tea.
We didn’t have to worry about our payment, because our host charged automatically our credit card. The main reason to choose for Catchick’s was its location very close to the West Edmonton Mall. And indeed it was just 1 minute drive.

West Edmonton Mall!
by guybert
"Mall Pirate Ship!"
West Edmonton Mall was once the biggest covered shopping center in the world. I'm sure someone has built bigger by now. Besides have every possible type of store you can think of, the mall also has many sites & activities. One of the sites is it has a full size replica of a pirate ship that they have nicely set up on a center water exibit which is also home to a dolphin pool, aquarium & a submarine ride.
"Mall Water Slides!"
One of the things we enjoyed the most was going to the Waterpark which consists of a large waterslide complex & a large pool area. We packed a lunch & the four of us went in and spent the whole day there. It was a blast!
"Mall Water Park!"
The other part of the Water Park is what they call the Wave Pool. What it is, the waves are (mechanically produced) so that you can bounce around in the water on small inner tubes or try to do a bit of body surfing. It's a lot of fun & the kids really enjoyed it, (they could live in the water). It was a very good day outing for us.
"Upper floor!"
The upper level on the north side is done up with old style shop fronts & gives you the illusion that you are walking in an old southern town in New Orleans. They even have statues set up in places to add to the decor.
