Igloo Inn: Igloo Inn

hmm is the hotel then I took for the first week when I just moved out here since place to stay are just insane to found in this town anyway it was a nice room then I got, got one with oven and fridge, and really cheap stay for the Grande Prairie area only 60$/night but could get a dela for a week but since I took it only day after day just don't got any. You have access to TV and phone in your room and have shower and all normal stuff. Got an indoor pool and is just next to Mcdonald and got some nice restaurant around and across is the Grande Prairie Mall.

Saskatoon Island Provincial Park: Go for the day, or for the weekend

102 hectares, 97 campsites including walk in and group sites. Northern aspen parkland, where native people historically came in summer for thousands of years to gather saskatoon berries and to make pemmican. Saskatoon growth is still abundant; however picking for more than personal use is discouraged. Also a game preserve where rare Trumpeter Swans (largest swans and waterfowl in the world) are seen regularly (so named because of their bugling call). The lake attracts many waterfowl and there is a viewing platform over Little Lake. Beach, boating, swimming and playground facilities are available.

The only downside to this campground is the bugs - there are so many mosquitoes its crazy! (of course, its like that everywehre) Bring bugspray if you plan to stay here

Unique Quality: Electrical service, flush toilets and showers are available.

Walking trails in the campground, parks for the kids, and free firewood.
