Everything other than country
by jojocan
Grande Prairie has two radio stations, one country, one everything but country.
97.7 SunFM is everything but country, except the backstreet boys, which they just won't play.
They have contests, request hours (during lunch time), all sorts of fun things. My favorite time to listen to this radio station is first thing in the morning, because they are funny, and then at lunch, because you get a good mixture of music.
Fun for the whole family!!!

Mini Links Miniature Golf
18 hole miniature golf course, fun for the whole family. Tourists welcome, no reservations required.
Adults $4.50; Children 14 and under $3.50. Family and group rates available.
Mini Links also has the best ice cream place in Grande Prairie in the summer - excellent shakes, sundaes, and they are always stocked on blue bubblegum ice cream! No equipment required - they provide balls, putters, score cards and pencils!
Apparently, as seen in the pic, they also rent bikes here.

hmm well hard to describe since I live here and basically didnt really visit Grande Prairie always out to the mountain or British Columbia anyway, Grande Prairie are locate 4h30 hours away from Edmonton and 4 hours to Jasper Nationnal Park and 1h30 to British Columbia Border, Toward Dawson Creeek. The city actually grow up a lot like basically double since the last 5 year if is not more and are a nice stop if you're going toward NWT/Alaska. The nicest thing then I like in Grande Prairie is when I live or come back to this city during night with all the light is quite impressive just by the hill when we go toward the BC Border/Wembly. they had lot of park around in town who are nice to go here when you had some time to kill but since is short in labor up here most of time people work like crazy and don't give lot of time to enjoy it. on a clear sky you can see the mountian from the top of roof usually and some people said sometime we see some northern light.
