Well-appointed lodging
We enjoyed our two-night stay at the Park Place Inn. Although our room faced the street and got a bit noisy when the bars let out, otherwise it was very convenient, clean, and very comfortable (great bed).

Unique Quality: There is a restaurant across the street that the owners of the hotel own as well. They give you a discount if your staying at the hotel.

We stayed at the Inn for two nights after our Alaskan Cruise and were not disappointed
We stayed in Suite J which had a huge huge comfy bed, large whirlpool bath, fireplace and lounge
The shower was fantastic with shower heads to suit every height and angle, and with a set of further jets opposite
Perfectly located in the centre of Jasper and with secure underground parking
There are a lot of nice restaurants all within walking distance and to suit all pockets and if you eat at the L & W Restaurant you get a ten per cent discount
Would undoubtedly stay again if we went to Jasper again and can wholeheartedly recommend the Park Place Inn to anyone contemplating a stay in Jasper
Love this inn. Beautifully decorated and conveniently located in town. Off the main drag so not as noisy. The inn is very quiet and relaxing overall.
Our room is huge and the furnishings can best be described as country antique. Very tastefully done.
The bathroom has to be the crowning jewel in the room. It has a marble floor with a frameless glass shower and a separate classic looking soaking tub.
We just remodeled our bathroom so we are very aware of what to look for. And we think they did a great job on their bathroom compared.
Bathrobes are also available and the toss pillows add a nice touch to a classy setting.
The inn has a secured underground parking for only 10 vehicles. Certainly not enough for all the guests.
We also didn't see many people working at the inn. Just saw one person manning the reception desk at any one time.
The exterior of the building looks pretty basic. Certainly does not do its interior justice. Stay here and you will know what I mean. You won't regret it.
We stayed here recently on our tour of Canada. An absolutely excellent place to stay. perfectly located in the centre of Jasper and a lovely place to relax in in the evenings. We stayed in Suite J and we overwhelmed at the space available. The Jacuzzi bath was great as was the seperate bathroom and shower. The Separate lounge area was cozy with a fireplace and another TV.
There was no problems parking underneath and there are also spaces available at the rear of the property. All in all we loved staying here and would go back in a shot if we are in Jasper again.
We stayed in one of the downstairs suites. It was beautifully done out in luxury furnishings and fittings - a two-person jacuzzi in the bedroom, a luxury pulsating jet shower, marble and tiles. It had a separate living room but our only gripe was there was only one window right at the end of the long room, which looked out over the back of shops and made the room dark. We were also surprised to wake up one morning and walk out into the downstairs foyer that had transformed into a souvenir shop - a bit like walking out of the stock cupboard....
We didn't have a need to go upstairs at all to the rest of the hotel (reception is on the first floor) but we chose it for the luxury and location, right in the middle of Jasper town, which was great.
The furnishings and fittings made this suite what it was, but after four nights, the darkness of the room (on sunny days) got a bit depressing and we felt it was overpriced for this and the fact you walked out into a shop.
If you are looking for luxury, go to the Fairmont. This really is luxury at its finest with cabins around the lake - but you do pay for it.
Four women travelling together and we all loved this hotel. The rooms were spotless, beds were incredibly comfortable with a featherbed topper on them and lovely down pillows. The bathrooms were absolutley beautiful - marble tile, deap tubs and large stand alone showers. Each room had a fridge that was stocked with cream for coffee or tea (coffee maker, coffee and tea proved in each room as well). This hotel in very conveniently located right downtown Jasper surrounded by many shops and wonderful restaurants. The next time I stay there I will request a room at the bacl of the hotel as when the bars and nigjtclubs close, it can get quite noisy on the front street. Otherwise it was fantastic!
We stayed at the Park Place Inn from May 31 - June 1 and we enjoyed it. It was our first experience at an intimate, boutique hotel and it was very nice. The hotel staff was incredibly pleasant and the room was amazing (we stayed in room #5, which I think is the largest room on the main floor). We enjoyed the large, comfy bed and the separate bathtub that was in the bedroom. The bathroom was really nice as well. We loved the overall decor of the inn (luxury furnishings with soothing spa-like accents and colors). Our only complaint was that the parking garage didn't have enough spaces, but it really wasn't too much of a problem. I don't know if we'd stay at the Park Place Inn again just because we'd like to try somewhere different next time (we drove by some cabins on our way to Jasper that were right on the banks of the Athabasca River - they looked inviting); however, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Upon arrival at Park Place Inn we were very impressed as our room (number 5) was absolutely fantastic - huge room with a jacuzzi bath in the room, large bathroom with marble shower, wet bar area, comfy king size bed. In fact the room was very tastefully decorated and billed as the 'honeymoon suite'. We noticed that all of the rooms were huge and all furnished to a high standard. There is secure underground parking for about 10 cars.
The main problem we experienced was that Jasper was experiencing quite hot weather and the air conditioning in our room didn't work properly and was noisy as the nightime was unbearably hot. Thus, we had to switch it off and open the windows, which was problematic as there is a nightclub across the way and during the early hours of the morning the clientele were quite noisy. We spoke with reception and they were very good and offered to let us use a fan and agreed a discount on the room. Park Place Inn is above a restaurant so we suspect the huge ovens were fighting with the effectiveness of the air conditioning. It really is a shame this happened and we hope they will do something about this as we weren't the first to raise our concerns.
WOW - what a fantastic hotel. Located right in the centre of Jasper and has wonderful rooms. They are extremely clean and very spacious with 2 Queen size beds and a huge marbled bathroom with jacuzzi! Staff were friendly and they had a taxi at their door for us within 2 minutes. Ideal if you are jumping on the Rocky Mountaineer train the next morning. Air con system a little noisy but it certainly did not spoil our enjoyment. Would not hesitate in staying here again - would love to in fact!!

There is a restaurant across the street that the owners of the hotel own as well. They give you a discount if your staying at the hotel.
