It is absolutely the best place to see the wildlife go wild!!! you will really enjoy Red Deer Alberta--- the fastest growing community in all of Canada!!!! :0) oh yeah--- Black Knight Inn has $5.99 steak sandwiches that are to DIE FOR!!! I have lived in Red Deer for about 4 years now and love everything that I see!!! This may be a pit stop for the transit between Edmonton and Calgary, but why is all of the country moving to this place? Come and find out!!! :0)

It's not really off the beatan path, but a definate trip to take is to Lake Louise. From there you can tour the grand Chateau Lake Louise, and take a horse drawn carriage ride around the lake. In the winter, along with the previous activities, you can ice skate and build snow castles out in the backyard of the Chateau. If you're in the area and have a car, make a run down to the Bow glacier. It's very large!

hello to all out there in this great big beatiful world.I acctually do not live in Reddeer,but it is the closest city to where I do live.Which is Rocky Mt. House.Reddeer is a beautiful little city,with much to offer.Is possibly the cleanest city i personally have ever been in with the exception of Saskatoon ,Saskatchewan.Now Rocky is very very beautiful! We are nestled betwwen two of Albertas biggest cities,Edmonton,and Calgary.the veiw from the top of mainstreet is breathtaking,Mountains,big,beatiful mountains.Rocky,is a small town full of wonderful people,of all races and creed.We welcome all who wish to visit with open arms,,by for now.
