Go shopping.......
Great malls !!
As a guy I didn't like shopping at all, untill we went shopping in Alberta !!
Clean, quiet, neet, great! The people.
And a town called Rimbey, because we've lived there.
Nice and quiet town with friendly people, exept for Walter Beekman. If you ever wanna go work on a pigfarm, don't go working for him !!!
All we've seen from Alberta was great, specialy the Rockies ofcourse.
We are still looking for some friends who lived near Lacombe,so....

The one thing that I personally really enjoy here in Red Deer is the Highland Games. They are Scottish games that happen once a year and showcase things like highland dancing, sheepdog competitions, and those strong man events(yawwwnn) and of course bagpiping. I am telling you though, the thing to see is the trail system in this city, it is very pretty.
Red Deer....yes it is a place

Red Deer, home of the Red Deer river, famous for its many wonderful bike paths and parks, and yes it is my home....but not always. I grew up on a farm about 40 minutes away form this city of 70,000+ people. Red Deer is really booming, so much that the construction can hardly keep up...this city has alot of activities but pales in comparison to attractions of cities like Montreal and even Calgary...making Red Deer not a real touristy place. But some people like authenticity....right? Some people want to see places that are untouched...or maybe that was a untouched beach??? Red Deer or beach....hmmmmmm it is a toss up!!:)

I love this place, and it will always be my favorite spot to visit when in Canada. I will never forget the two trips I've taken to this area, they are so memorable. Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, Red Deer, the whole area is breathtaking. You must visit, if you don't you really are missing out on a wonderful experience.
