Vintage Aircraft
Some of the vintage and modern aircraft shown here are only available for public viewing once a year during their "warehouse tour" The large white fighter plane is a full sized replica of the famous AVRO ARROW.
All of the Avro Arrow planes were destroyed after the program was cancelled in the late 1950's . Fitted with the powerful Orenda Iroquois engines, it was capable of exceeding Mach 2.6
Two 1930's vintage biplanes are available to take visitors for a spin around the skies. One is a Stearman, the other a Waco.
This beautifully restored Norseman is mounted on display at the Alberta Air Museum on Kingsway, in Edmonton. It was a heavy workhorse floatplane used for many years in northern Canada. It was owned by Buffalo Airways.
