Oceanfront Grand Resort, the Big Hotel in the Bay.
The Big Hotel in the bay is part of the Travellers Chain from Victoria, B.C. It has a Ocean view dining area, swimming pool and hot
tub soaking pool, meeting rooms for groups, a holding Bar for causal meeting and almost every room faces the Bay. They offer
off season rates and corporate deals on room rates. When our relatives visit they have a great place to stay while visiting.
A Web-cam veiw of the Hotel's ocean side is on www.bigwavedave.com. This site also has a lot of other cams of Vancouver Island.
There is a Dock at this hotel for boat use,which is next to Fishermen's Wharf,the historic Public Dock of Cowichan Bay. This Hotel
is central to the action in the Bay and is very busy and well booked by the traveling public, reservations for rooms and seating in the
restaurant are required.
Unique Quality: Ocean facing hotel in the centre of the Bay close to everything this place has. Nice pool and tub to soak in, and small shops including a
Liquour and wine/beer outlet downstairs in the hotel.
