Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia
*Note: Sincle there is no page for such a small town, I used Dawson, only an hour away from Tumbler Ridge*
We visited Northern British Columbia this summer. We did a lot of hiking on natural trails and newly made man made trails. Hiked under waterfalls, over steep cliffs with shear drops of 50-100 ft, through bear country, saw dinosaur footprints (yes, they are documented too!) This really is God's country.
We had a small inconvience that actually turned into an adventure....the town was evacuated because of forest fires, but we were put up and fed by complete strangers and hour away from town! That's just how people are in that part of the country...friendly, and caring....what a change from the big city!!
Will add photos later
