The Canadian Hawaii!
Rock water, although only 40 minutes by ferry, feels a world apart. The first thing you notice is the quiet beauty for there is no noise at Rockwater. Only the sounds of the sea gulls and the waves lapping under your new home a quasi tent-deluxe suite-half canvas and half deluxe amenities. You sleep like a baby! the food is delicious! just sublime! Every meals was an experience..
There are plenty of water based sports to do. My favorite was to rent a sailing boat out of Gibson's Harbour and sail the seas for the afternoon. If you want to go to town you can drive in and shop or eat or just wander around.
The only downside was the service from the kitchen. You could end up waiting for your food because there weren't enough service hlep to assist.
