Father Pandosy Mission
by Ken_Weaver
Father Pandosy, a Catholic priest, started this mission in 1860 to convert natives, new settlers, and the traders. Some of the oldest structures in Kelowna are on this site. I particularly noticed a variety of cornering methods on the log building construction which is unusual. Log house builders use one method but not usually two. This building used a dovetail method.

i actually have no idea where it is. All i remember was hopping on this greyhound bus, opening my eyes and 'POOF' i was in this little old weird, strangly wizard of oz like little Canadian city. Actually its way past woop woop and a large stones throw beyond Vancouver to narrow it down a little better.
And so i hear everyone asking why would you go to Kelowna? short answer is - frogs nose (edited for childrens viewing purposes.
long answer is i got this shirt that has a few wrinkles and needed somewhere to iron it. So thought i'd choof over here and knock some dishes door down and borrow her iron. Wacky thing was, she had no spray bottle so needed to squirt water through my teeth to assist with the winkies. Also journeyed off to the Stupid Store (Kelowna slang for Superstore) got meself some new supplies including deodarant (started to smell after 2 weeks without) and needed a few bananas to feed the monkeys i was staying with. Kinda found out also that this house had 3 rugrats and a granny rat, as well as the dish, so what i thought was going to be a peaceful day or so turned out to be nothing more then a trip to the Dubbo Zoo (thats in Dubbo for those that don't know and it has animals in it, hence the zoo).
so now i'm just sitting here rugrats behind me sprawled upon the bed, dish here to but where should she be i here you say? doing my washing, washing the dishes, cooking the dinner, etc etc etc.........
OOPS
she did do all those things....... hmmmmm
ok, sorry Roxy, its been cool and i have appreciated the chillout time you gave me, thanks for the friendship and any chance you'll iron my washing when its dry too?
cheers
