The waterfront walk alongside the park, was one that we both enjoyed.
Kerry Park is part of the waterfront walkway that runs from the W.R. Bennett Bridge to Waterfront Park. The Kerry Park Stage is a popular site on weekends for family musical entertainment throughout July and August. I also found a lovely Rose garden here, very nice, as all the Rose's were flowering.
The waterfront walk is flat, well paved, and has lovely views. It took us past the ‘Sails’ fountain and Ogopogo, a Marina and the large, "Grand Okanagan Resort." Here, we wandered around a pretty park, over a bridge where a water lock was in place , and managed to see some large fish in the water.
The walk is 2kms, and is easy, nice for that slow stroll!
If you need to park your car, parking is available in City Park, at the Grand Okanagan Hotel, at the Chapman Parkade off Lawrence, and the Library Parkade off Ellis.
