tranquility amidst the lush green and the lake
Stayed in this resort for 5 days last june. The condo we got has 3 bedrooms ( 2 queen beds w/ ensuite baths and a room w/ bunk bed), a kitchen, a living room and a terrace. It is overlooking the Lake Okanagan and on the other side, is the golf course. The lake was just a throw away. I was not so impressed about the golf course though because there are a lot of badgers.
There is a heated swimmingpool at the clubhouse if the water at the lake is too cold for you. It also has a sauna and a hot tub.
My only complaint about the place is that it is too isolated. We needed to drive for about 30-45 minutes to the nearest grocery store and to downtown Kelowna. To my knowledge, no public buses pass by the resort.
I think, I will recommend this place for honeymoonersand not for family ( w/ small kids, like our group) vacationers because if the water at the lake is too cold for swimming, there is not much you can do around. There is also a horseback riding place about 10-15 minutes away through car.
Unique Quality: The view is really nice, golf course, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. They also have a restaurant w/c carries the local wine. plus they offer babysitting at the clubhouse.
