Out on the farm in Aldergrove!Langley - Just an Extension of Surrey
In my opinion, the cities/districts of Langley and North Delta are just unofficial extensions of the City of Surrey. The only difference is the make-up of the population that inhabits the areas. Langley is the Eastern-most city in the Greater Vancouver Regional District, and is inhabited mostly by lower-middle class fair-skinned people living on cheap land and affordable housing. The folk in Langley are commonly referred to as "red-necks" and/or Skin Heads. Why so extreme? Because we often find that there are hate-crimes committed once in a while and there are brochures and pamphlets regularly distributed at mall parking lots encouraging "White Power" and hatred against visible minorities. Yes, such activity does exist in Canada - luckily it is restricted to this area.
