Manning Park Resort

We stayed here as its the only place to stay in Manning park. They have a mid week special which works out to $89 inc breakfast which is pretty good value as the normal rate without breakfast is $129. The rooms are great and I they location is just off the main road (high way 3). There's a pub, bistro, restaurant and convenience strore. Unfortunatley the restaurant wasn't that great. First of all it closes at 8.30pm, so when we arrived at 8.45pm we were pretty stuck, Fortunatley the lodge had some microwave pizzas to sell us. In addition earlier in the day the picnic we'd ordered included a bacon hamburger instead of a vegi burger for a vegitarian in our party. Even worse, as we'd missed the restaurant and were eating microwave pizzas they didn't have any vegi food available. With the next nearest town an hour each way in either direction our freins had to suffice herself with potato chips unitll breakfast!
