"billed as the wine capital of B.C."

Oliver is a very small town near the bottom of Hwy 97. Small as it is there are many local wineries in the vicinity. Not only are these wineries producing really good wine, they are situated near beautiful lakeside vistas. Even the drive can be intoxicating.

I like quite a few of the wines here. Perhaps I'm mistaken but I have a sense that there are less sulphites in local wines. That means more wine and less headaches for me.
