"Penticton must do's"
* float down the Penticton river chanel. It takes about three hours to float to the end. Half way down is a native reserve store to pick up snacks. If you need a ride to the top it is a good idea to take thelocal river channel bus they also supply tubes. The channel starts at Okanagan Lake and flows to Skaha Lake. Dont forget to bring sun block.Beware Alcohol is monitored at times by police officers at the top. If you do not require to use the bus it is also an idea to leave one car at the bottom, so you can return to the top and drive your self.
Nightlife - There are many places available according to tastes. Night Moves is a popular nightclub located on Main st. downtown. If you are interested in erotic night life there is a club called Slack Alices located on Water st. This club is world renound for the greatest erotic dances in BC. If you are interested in the country scene a local bar you would like to visit is the Blue Mule - a great location close to down town and the beach.
Two must see events are the, Penticton Peach Fest and the Ironman canada book motels ASAP they book up really fast!

"Munson Mountain View Point"
A great View point is Munson mountain, If you plan to take a small hike it is located off of Vancouver hill close to the down town area. If you just want to take a picnic a gazebo is just a 5 minute walk from parking.This view point over looks the Okanagan lake as well as the okanagan beach.
