About 800 km North of Vancouver on Hwy 97 N or about 1 hour from Vancouver by plane.

Prince George is most often known as the Northern Capital of our province of British Columbia.

From here, highways go North to Alaska, West to Prince Rupert and East to Jasper National Park and Province of Alberta.

Connaught Hill Park is in the city overlooking the "bowl" area of downtown.
