Brutal Bavaria Motel
Awful! My wife and I had stayed here on our honeymoon several years ago and it was lovely. We had friends visiting from Quebec and booked the Bavaria again. Unfortunately the motel had changed hands shortly after our honeymoon, and I do not think it has been cleaned since. The carpets were grimy and black. The bathroom walls, sink, and tub were covered in long black hairs and a yucky oily/greasy substance. The door of the room our friends stayed in would not lock. We booked non-smoking rooms but both rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. Even though no-smoking signs were prominently displayed at the front of the building and on the decks, people were constantly smoking in these areas and I never saw any staff ask them to move away from the building.
